Valerian is included to calm the intestinal tract and to reduce the griping that can occur when using laxatives. Holy Thistle has bitter qualities to promote better digestion, and Dandelion Root contains bitter substances which are beneficial to the digestive process. The formulation offers six effective herbs to ensure softer stools, reduce griping and cause bowel movement. It should not be taken with other laxatives.
