Organic banana powder is made through harvesting Ecuadorian golden yellow ripened bananas. The bananas are washed and hand peeled. They are then mashed, dehydrated and milled into a fine powder. Throughout this process the bananas are kept below 32°C retaining the rich nutrients and minerals. This powder contains no other ingredients except bananas making it an ideal addition to your healthy organic lifestyle. Although not on the dirty dozen list of heavily sprayed crops bananas are intensively sprayed with pesticides and fungicides so choosing organic is a good option. Organic banana powder is ideal for uses in smoothies, pancakes, ice cream, cakes, porridge just to name a few. A little will go a long way in terms of both flavour and nutritional value. Due to the lack of water present in this product it means that the nutrients present are packed into small amounts. It contains high levels of potassium and magnesium, and it also has naturally occurring electrolytes.
